Colombo: Sri Lanka Customs at the Bandaranaike International Airport has arrested an Indian national attempting to smuggle in stock of gold biscuits and jewellery valued over Rs 19 million.
The 32-year-old suspect is a resident of Kerala State of India. The stock of gold weighing 3 kilograms and 13 grams was concealed in a portable hydraulic car lift, the Custom officials said.
