A four-month-old baby died onboard a Bangalore-Patna IndiGo flight after he developed breathing problems.
The incident took place on Tuesday (July 31), following which the flight 6E 897 made an emergency landing at Hyderabad. However, the infant could not be saved.
According to reports, the baby and his parents were on board an early morning flight. At around 7:30 am the flight was diverted to the Hyderabad Airport, PTI quoted sources as saying. An ambulance and a doctor were also arranged for the baby at the airport.
On landing, the infant was rushed to a private hospital but was declared brought dead.
