Pune: The airport may soon get two additional security frisking booths and an x-ray baggage system, thus, putting an end to long queues during security checks at the facility.
“Two additional security frisking booths and another gate for departure will come up at the airport soon. Besides, one addition x-ray baggage system will also be installed here,” sources at the airport said on Wednesday.
An airport official said there are eight security check-point gates at the airport and two more will be added by November.
