Pune: Air India commenced international cargo export to Dubai from Pune on Thursday. AI station manager Suhas Jadhav told TOI that the national airline flew 550 kg of babycorn from Pune to Dubai. This is expected to boost the dwindling international cargo operation at Pune airport.
The airport authorities had earlier announced the international cargo transshipment facility and Jadhav said that they will soon apply for it.
