New Delhi: Low-cost airline GoAir on Friday floated a new ‘Rakhi’ offer under which customers can fly at fares starting Rs 1,335. According to the company’s website, customers can also get exclusive deals up to Rs 3,000 to buy gifts. “This Rakshabandhan fly back home with fares starting as low as Rs1335* and enjoy exclusive deals up to Rs 3000* for your sister,” said the offer page on GoAir’s website. It may be noted that customers can book tickets under the offer between August 2 and August 4, 2018, and the same can be used to travel between August 2 and October 10, 2018. While the first quarter proved to be a turbulent time for airline companies, some continue to float offers to maintain high engagement and attract more flyers during the seasonally slow June-September quarter.
Besides the Raksha Bandhan offer, the airline is also providing a cashback of 5 per cent on payment through digital wallet Paytm. Not just GoAir but several airlines offer cashbacks on payment via digital wallets, especially MobiKwik and Paytm.
