Hubballi: Launch of air freight service benefits traders

Hubballi: Traders from North Karnataka have now benefitted with Airport Authority of India (AAI) giving permission to start air cargo services from Hubballi.

Currently, Indigo and Spicejet passenger flights have been given permission to carry cargo and Air India is planning to start the service soon.

“Efforts are being made to construct a separate building for the cargo service in the airport. Necessary facilities have been provided for this additional service. Businessmen from Hubballi can easily send their products as well as receive products from other cities,” Hubballi airport director S K Ahilya told media.
