Agartala: In the wake of persistent obstacles in running the business, SpiceJet Authorities have decided to close down operations of its aircraft from Agartala airport. The last SpiceJet flight would take off from the Agartala Airport today.
The decision taken by the SpiceJet authorities will affect 27 employees of the company working there, as they stand at the risk of losing their jobs.
The Tripura Government had earlier sought the intervention of the Ministry of Civil Aviation into the case when SpiceJet first announced that it is planning to close down operations at Agartala Airport from September 1, but no developments have been made so far.
