Udaipur is set to shortly have a direct flight to Lucknow. While the schedule has not been released, the the flight is likely to start from October.
Udaipur-Lucknow flight will be operated by Jet Airways. Lucknow will also have a direct flight to Bengaluru starting Sept 2 and while official announcementis yet to be made, Jet Airways may also start flight from Lucknow to Chennai and Hyderabad, besides Udaipur from October onward.
Flights will be operated under Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) that provide for affordable flight charges. Mostly ATR flights are operated under this scheme and the flight charges are capped at Rs 2500.
