Phuket: GoAir, one of India’s fastest growing airlines, landed its first-ever direct flight into Phuket from New Delhi this morning (Oct 11). The flight also marked the first-ever direct flight from India to Phuket.
GoAir had recently announced Phuket as its first international destination, with new international schedule introducing direct flights connecting Phuket with Mumbai and New Delhi.
The direct flights between Phuket and Delhi operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays, while the direct flights between Phuket and Mumbai operate on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
In the aviation tradition to mark key milestones, Flight G8 31 was welcomed on landing at Phuket International Airport with a grand water cannon salute. On entering the terminal, the 182 passengers on board were handed gifts and received a personal reception by GoAir top management and staff.
