The shocking knife attack on YS Jagan has brought the entire state on tenterhooks. Especially, the Vizag airport, where the incident took place was on high alert and not even the India and West Indies cricket teams were spared by the security forces.
A video has been doing the rounds on the internet in which two buses carrying the Indian and West Indian cricketers to the airport were halted near the airport. Players from both the teams were made to wait impatiently for a long time until Jagan left for Hyderabad and the chaos subsided.
The airport security officials said that the delay was only to ensure the safety of the players. After ending the 2nd ODI in a nail-biting draw last night, both the teams were on their way to Pune for the 3rd ODI in the series which will be played on October 27th.
