Mumbai: Good news for frequent flyers between Mumbai to Vapi (Gujarat). Now people can avail heli taxi services everyday from Juhu’s Pawan Hans airport. The airport will be flying two helicopter taxis on a daily basis. Though to avail this service one will have to pay a little more than usual fare, but that’s totally worth it as it’s time saving. As of now, the service is basically targeting businessmen who can afford INR 21,000 per seat in the helicopter service. This is not it though, in INR 21,000, people would also get limousine service from Vapi.
The service is definitely going to benefit people who take trips often between the two destinations. The road distance between the two cities is nearly 180 km and it takes around 3.5 hours to travel via cab or taxi. So surely, air travel is going to be a great time saver. People won’t have to endure heavy road traffic, and long railway station queues can be avoided too.
