You can soon catch flights from Hyderabad to Bhopal & Imphal

Hyderabad: Soon, travellers from Hyderabad can directly fly into cities such as Kolhapur, Nasik, Imphal, Bhopal, Dehradun, Tuticorin among others. Already connecting 62 domestic destinations around India, the new additions will further enhance the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport’s (RGIA) regional network.

“The addition of Imphal, in particular, will open up direct connectivity to the north-east region of the country for the first time from Hyderabad. This will help boost tourism and trade between the city and the north-east,” said a spokesperson of the GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited (GHIAL).
Revving up this connectivity are a slew of carriers including IndiGo, GoAir, SpiceJet, AirAsia that have added multiple flights to various places, in recent times.
In fact, IndiGo has even chosen RGIA as its first and primary base for operations for its new fleet of ATR aircraft. “We are delighted to work with Hyderabad airport authorities…As we take more deliveries of the ATR 72s we will be looking at other bases around the country to augment our regional connectivity,” said William Boulter, chief commercial officer, IndiGo.
