New Delhi: Low-cost carrier GoAir is offering up to 5 per cent discount and excess baggage allowance to students. Students can avail 5% discount on base fare and enjoy extra baggage allowance up to 25 Kg under this offer. The offer will be available for tickets booked through GoAir website. Users have to opt for the student fare option to avail the offer.
The offer is valid for students above 12 years of age who belong to recognized school/university that issues a bonafide Student ID card. It is mandatory for the students to carry a valid student ID card as well as a valid government-approved photo ID with them and display it at the time of check-in at the airport.
The discount is applicable only on domestic flights and is valid for both, one way as well as round-trip bookings. Bookings made under this scheme can be changed or cancelled. However, only one modification is allowed by calling at the GoAir call centre. The tickets are non-transferable under the offer and name changes are not permitted. It may also be noted that web check-in is not allowed under the scheme.
