Srinagar: The season’s first snow in Kashmir disrupted air traffic at Srinagar airport leading to cancellation of flights.
An official spokeperson said all afternoon flights to and from Srinagar were cancelled. The airport was jam packed with flyers waiting for improvement in weather.
“Due to bad weather from 1215 hours, 17 flights were cancelled,” said an airport official.
The flights which were cancelled are GoAir, Indigo, Vistara, Air India, SpiceJet and Jet Airways.
