The newest domestic route from Bengaluru next year would be to the temple town of Shirdi in Maharashtra.
SpiceJet will commence services to Shirdi staring January 6 with flights operating six days a week.
The flight will be for an hour and 45 minutes and will leave Bengaluru every day (except Tuesday) at 2.25 pm and arrive at Shirdi at 4.10 pm. Bookings are already open and ticket prices start at Rs 4,367. SpiceJet will deploy a 90-seater aircraft on the route.
From Shirdi, the airline will operate two flights, SG 1268 which will depart at 12.10 pm and arrive at
Bengaluru at 1.55 pm and a connecting flight via Hyderabad wherein flight SG 3577 will leave Shirdi at 11.20 am and arrive at Hyderabad at 12.40 pm. There will be a layover of three hours and 24 minutes and with a change of aircraft (Flight SG1233) the flight will leave Hyderabad at 4.45 pm and arrive in Bengaluru at 5.20 pm.
