New Delhi: With the coming of Republic Day celebrations on January 26 at Rajpath, air traffic will remain shut for seven days for some period, which may cause changes in some flight timings and some may get cancelled.
According to the airport sources, Indian Air Force, keeping in view the preparations for the celebrations, has suggested to reduce the air traffic in Delhi.
With the ongoing celebrations, on January 18, 20-24 and 26, the air space will remain shut from 10.45 am to 12.15 pm. Thus, about 800 flights from IGI Airport will get affected for the seven days.
However, no advisory has been received in this matter, the Delhi International Airport Limited said.
