Panaji: Union Minister for Civil Aviation Suresh Prabhu inaugurated country's first Geographical Indication (GI) Store at Goa International Airport at Dabolim in South Goa on Monday.
The store is located on the first floor on Departure Terminal, and jointly set up by Airport Authority of India (AAI) and The Cashew Export Promotional Council of India (CEPCI).
Members of Parliament Narendra Sawaikar and Vinay Tendulkar, Minister for Tourism Manohar Ajgaonkar, Minister for Town and Country Planning (TCP) Vijay Sardesai, Minister for Panchayat Mauvin Godinho were, among others, present on the occasion.
