On Sunday, the police arrested a man headed to Kuwait at the Kannur Airport, Kerala after he was caught bringing contraband items that were worth Rs. 16 lakhs in his luggage, officials said he had 400 gm of hashish cream inside his bag.
Mujeeburahman, the arrested man, was about to board a flight from Indigo Airlines when he was asked to go through a security checkup after officers noticed that the passenger was roaming suspiciously in the checking area of the Kannur Airport.
When his luggage went through the X-ray machine, 2 parcels were found inside, and when it went through a physical search, officers saw 2 containers that were filled with hashish cream that was around 400 grams.
