You can fly to Mysuru for just over Rs 1,000

The capital city of Karnataka and the cultural capital of the state will soon be connected via air. Air India’s subsidiary Alliance Air will commence flight service between Bengaluru and Mysuru starting June 7 under the Ude Desh Ka Aam Naagrik (UDAN) or the Regional Air Connectivity scheme.
 While the fare (super value economy) for the one hour long Bengaluru-Mysuru flight is Rs 1,589, the web special economy fare is Rs 1,365. On the Bengaluru-Mysuru route the flight AI 9539 will depart from the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) at 10.30 am and arrive at the Mysuru airport at 11.25 am.
From Mysuru, flight AI 9540 will depart at 12 noon and arrive at KIA at 1 pm. The fare (super value economy) on the Mysuru-Bengaluru route is priced at Rs 1504 and the the web special economy fare is Rs 1,365. Alliance Air will operate the 70 seater ATR-72’s on the route five days a week.
 There would be no flights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The Mysuru airport restarted operations of commercial flights after a long gap in September 2017 with the commencement of flights between Mysuru and Chennai. Trujet started operations on the route under the UDAN scheme. Air Odisha was also scheduled to operate flights from Mysuru.
