Ranchi: A hoax bomb call forced security at the Ranchi airport to delay a Delhi-bound Vistara flight on Monday. The flight was scheduled to take off at 08:25 pm. The flight was halted, checked and cleared for take off after the call was found to be hoax. The flight later took off at 10 pm.
The Airport Authority of India has detained the person who had made the hoax call. The culprit, identified as Satish Singh, had a ticket for the same flight and had called the airport about the bomb to delay the flight as he was running late.
