Mohali: Private airlines GoAir has announced to add four more flights between Delhi and Chandigarh (two flights) and Ahmedabad and Chandigarh. The announcement was made of Monday and the flights will commence from October 5.
GoAir has added 16 aircraft to its fleet in the last 11 months (ever since the airline went international) resulting in 90 new flights, said a spokeperson. GoAir has added eight new airports to its network – Phuket, Male, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Dubai, Bangkok, Kannur and Kuwait.
The spokesperson said that GoAir flight G8 184 will depart from Delhi at 9.50 am and arrive at 11.10 am atChandigarh. Flight G8 164 will depart from Chandigarh at 10.50 pm and arrive at Delhi at 12.20 am. These flights will operate daily except Sunday and will not only benefit a heavy load of passengers traveling on the route but also act as a connection for passengers travelling on other routes. Fares for these flights start at Rs 1,707.
