Bangladeshi detained at airport

Jaipur: A Bangladeshi citizen was detained at Jaipur International Airport on Wednesday for travelling under a fake Indian passport. He was caught by the immigration department who found there was a look-out notice issued against him.
Imran Shaikh (27), who was travelling on a fake Indian passport, was caught by immigration officials of being from the neighbouring country because of which there was a look out notice for him. He was caught when he was trying to board an Air Arabia flight from Jaipur to Sharjah.
Immigration officials handed him over to the local police along with the documents found on him.
“We are interrogating him to find how did he acquire the fake passport and if had previously also used the same route to go to Sharjah”, said an official of Sanganer police station. A case of forgery, cheating and others under relevant IPC sections was registered against the accused.
