Visakhapatnam: SpiceJet will launch direct flight service from Visakhapatnam to Vijayawada and Chennai with effect from October 27. The service will be operated on all days except on Tuesdays. While the flight no: SG 3254 from Visakhapatnam to Vijayawada will depart at 8:30 am. and arrives at Vijayawada at 9:30 am., flight no: SG 3253 from Vijayawada to Visakhapatnam departs at 9:50 am and arrives at Visakhapatnam at 10:50 am.
Members of the Andhra Pradesh Air Travellers Association (APATA) said the new services were being launched after repeated requests made by the association members to meet the growing needs of the travellers, especially in busy routes such as Vijayawada and Chennai from Visakhapatnam. Similarly, flight no: SG 3252 from Visakhapatnam to Chennai will take off at 11:20 am and land at Chennai at 12:55 p.m., while flight no: SG 3251 from Chennai to Visakhapatnam departs at 6:30 am and arrives at Visakhapatnam at 8:05 am.
