Kolkata: Technical snags led to the cancellation of two flights from Kolkata on Wednesday, one to Mumbai and the other to Dibrugarh.
IndiGo Airlines flight 6E 318 to Mumbai that was to take off at 5.30am was cancelled reportedly due to consequent delays in the network owing to a problem that occurred in the airline’s server the previous day. The passengers were accommodated on later flights.
Shortly, Air India, too, announced the cancellation of flight AI 705 to Dibrugarh that was to depart at 5.55am. The airline said passengers were informed about the delay in advance.
