You have no right to hold people to ransom: Passenger to Pragya Thakur on SpiceJet flight

Bhopal: A day after Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP’s) Member of Parliament (MP) from Bhopal, Pragya Singh Thakur, complained against the staff of SpiceJet flight crew, a video of her arguing with passengers on the same flight went viral.

In the video, passengers on the flight can be heard telling Thakur that she is people’s representative and therefore should not trouble them.

The BJP MP, who is also an accused in the Malegaon blast case, replied, "I said it at the beginning itself -- show me your rulebook -- If I don't feel comfortable, I will go".

"You are people's representative. Your job is not to trouble us. You should come by the next flight," the man says.

She then argues she would not do so as there "no first class, no facilities” to which the man responds she says “first class is not her right”.

"You should have that moral compass that even if one person is getting troubled because of you, you should own up because you are the leader. You are not ashamed that you have held 50 people at ransom," the man tells Thakur.

The BJP MP then tells the man to mind his language to which he replied that his language was absolutely correct.
