Danve called Aurangbad MP in AAI official letter

Aurangabad: A letter issued by Airport Authority of India’s (AAI) Aurangab director DG Salve, informing about the agenda of January 18 meeting of Airport Advisory Committee, addressed Jalna MP and union minister Raosaheb Danve as Aurangabad MP.
Danve is the chairman of the advisory committee.

A meeting of the committee will be held at 11 am on Saturday in the CIP lounge terminal building of Aurangabad airport.

Salve, in the letter, said that the meeting will be chaired by Danve and addressed him as the MP of Aurangabad.

The mistake got repeated twice in the letter, once in the recipient’s name and second in the body of the letter.

The letter was written to Danve and copied to the district collector of Aurangabad, police commissioner of Aurangabad, Aurangabad Municipal Corporation and other officials.

The letter further listed the agenda of the meeting that included 20 points. Development of the domestic and international air traffic in the city, international cargo and civil infrastructure, supply of drinking water from AMC, mutation of airport land, waiving of agriculture tax to the airport, pruning of trees and removal of obstruction outside of aerodrome, road connectivity from Aurangabad to Shirdi, Ajanta Caves and Ellora caves will be discussed in the meeting.
