Mohali: The Air India Express Sharjah flight and Air India flights from Dharamsala and New Delhi arrived and departed late by over two hours at the Chandigarh international airport here today. Six other flights also arrived and departed late.
MR Jindal, Manager, Air India, said the flight departed late from Sharjah due to bad weather there and subsequently, the return flight departed late. The flight, which has a scheduled departure of 9: 30 am, left Sharjah at 12:27 pm and reached Chandigarh at 3:59 pm against its scheduled arrival of 2:15 pm. The flight to Sharjah, with the scheduled departure of 3.15 pm, left at 6.11 pm with a delay of two hours and 54 minutes.
Similarly, the Air India flight from Dharamsala AI-9813/14 also arrived and departed late. The flight arrived at 11:44 am against its scheduled arrival of 9:30 am, a delay of two hours and 14 minutes. Subsequently, the flight departed late for Dharamsala by two hours and 36 minutes.
Air India flight from Delhi, AI-9831, arrived late by two hours. The flight with a scheduled arrival of 7:15 pm reached here at 9:15 pm.
