Kochi: Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) has initiated screening of passengers arriving in flights from Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus infection.
Passengers coming from these countries will be screened once they step out of aerobridges in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, official sources said.
The passengers will be given dedicated health screen counters, Immigration counters, Hand baggage screening X-ray, Registered baggage belts. No mixing is permitted between the passengers arriving from Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore.
