IAF heavyweight C-17 Globemaster lands in Dimapur

Dimapur: The fourth consignment of medical equipment, purchased by the state of Nagaland, landed at the Dimapur Airport on Saturday afternoon. The mighty Boeing C-17 Globemaster aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) carried PPE kits, ventilators, masks and other essential medical equipment that are being used in the state’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Taking to twitter, Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio said, “ Received another load of medical equipment; purchased by the Government of #Nagaland for prevention and control of #COVID19 in the state.”
The state government’s critical medical load was on Saturday received by NSDMA advisor Kazheto Kinimi, who thanked and highly appreciated the IAF team and crew working under high-risk conditions for their continuous support in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
