Kunal Kamra has best reply for IndiGo, Vistara's banter over grounded flights due to coronavirus

New Delhi: On Friday, many Indian airlines including Vistara, IndiGo, GoAir, and SpiceJet, among others took to Twitter to have a fun banter over the nationwide lockdown because of the novel coronavirus outbreak. Because of the lockdown, the operations of the domestic and international passenger flights in the country have been suspended.

The whole conversation started trending on Twitter and left the internet amused. However, stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra had a funny take over the viral conversation.

Kamra, who was banned by Vistara airlines in March, took to Twitter to reply to IndiGo airlines tweet, in which they had asked Vistara, "Hey @airvistara , not #flyinghigher these days we heard? #StayingParkedStayingSafe #LetsIndiGo." As for Kamra, he tweeted, "Now you know how I feel."

The comedian's tweet came after Vistara banned him from travelling on their flights, following the likes of Air India, SpiceJet, IndiGo and GoAir; who had also banned him.

In March, Kamra had tweeted about the news, "Air Vistara has also banned me now till the 27th April, following orders like they show... At a time where no one can fly, all I want to say is, neither am I sorry nor am I surprised, nor am I suffering."

Air vistara has also banned me now till the 27th April, following orders like they show... at a time where no one can fly, all I want to say is, neither am I sorry nor am I surprised, nor am I suffering.
The controversy started in late January, after a video of the comedian heckling a TV journalist on a Mumbai to Lucknow IndiGo flight went viral. IndiGo was the first airline to ban the stand-up comedian from flying for six months, after which other lines also followed suit.
