Gold worth Rs 3 crores hidden behind commode in flight; seized by Airport Intelligence Unit in Mumbai

The Airport Intelligence Unit at Mumbai airport has seized 6.5 kg of gold. The price of gold is being reported as Rs. 3 crores. According to information, 6.5 kg of gold was being smuggled from Abu Dhabi to Mumbai within flight number AI-1970. 

In the bathroom of the flight, 6.5 kg of gold was tied in a black bag by making a cavity in the wall. The person who was going to receive the consignment of this gold biscuit and who hid it in the bathroom of the flight has not been traced so far. The Airport Intelligence Unit has seized the consignment and the matter is under investigation.

There have been several reports of gold being smuggled from abroad in the last few days. In most cases, smugglers were arrested at the airport with gold. The smugglers who are smuggling gold are adopting new tactics every day that can blow anyone’s mind.
