Emirates, Etihad, Qatar: who does what in the Indian relief effort?

Airlines play a crucial part in transporting badly needed supplies to Indian airports – a smaller-scale repetition of a situation the world already experienced in the first months of the pandemic, in early 2020.

Among all the airlines taking part in the relief effort, three were particularly active. 

Emirates, Etihad Airways, and Qatar Airways, the so-called Big Three of the Middle East, have always considered India as a particularly important market.
