Air service for Haji pilgrims

Nashik: For the pilgrims going for Hajj from North Maharashtra including Nashik district, to get air service from Ozar Airport instead of Mumbai, Ojhar Airport should be included in the Hajj Terminal list of Hajj Terminal. MP Godse's efforts, such a recommendation was sent to the Center by the State Ministry of Minorities. The local administration also sent a report to the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation that Ojhar Airport is equipped with all facilities to start Hajj flights from Ojhar Airport. Every year about 12 to 15 thousand Muslims from North Maharashtra go for Hajj. For this, devotees have to go to Mumbai three to four times to complete the paperwork. And after completing all the rituals, the devotees have to leave Mumbai Airport for Hajj. As it is a waste of money and time, there is a huge influx of devotees, so the state should recommend this terminal to the Center.
