Foreign currency seized from passenger at RGIA

Hyderabad: Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) seized Foreign Currency (Saudi Riyal) worth more than Rs 10 lakhs in Indian Currency, from a passenger at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad, near here on Sunday.

CISF detected illegal foreign currency (Saudi Riyal ) when the passenger (India) was trying to conceal it in baggage at an International departure to Sharjah by flight No.G9.459, CISF sources said.

The case was handed over to Customs officials for further action, the sources added.
