New Delhi: Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) detected 46100 US dollars, approximately Rs 35 lakh in Indian currency from a woman at IGI Airport.
According to CISF, the security staff noticed suspicious activities of a woman passenger while moving in the Pre-Security Hold Area of terminal-3. She was later identified as Arpita Paul, arriving from Kolkata and onward bound for Dubai.
On suspicion, CISF personnel intercepted and enquired about her. On questioning, she said that due to some issues, she wanted to be self-offloaded. But it came to light that she canceled her Immigration and reached the check-in area for self-offloading formalities. During X-ray screening of her luggage, CISF personnel noticed a suspicious image inside the bag.
