Ahmedabad: The Central Industrial Security Force officials detained a 48-year-old Manish Shah who was caught with e-cigarette which he had hidden in his shoes. He was handed over to the Airport police.
The complaint registered by Bhagwan Meena, a CISF officer, posted with the domestic airport with the Airport police on Friday stated that he was doing his routine checking of passengers before they boarded the flight.
At about 6.30am on Friday while checking one passenger he found a e-cigarette from Shah.
The e-cigarette was hidden in the shoes by Shah. Shah is a resident of Raipur in Chattisgarh and was heading back to his home town.
Shah informed the CISF officials that he had got the wap form Chattisgarh. Since the passenger did not have any license to carry the e-cigarette he was detained and later handed over to the Airport police who arrested him.
