GoAir, recently rechristened Go First, filed for bankruptcy last week with the National Company Law Tribunal. It has declared that the airline owes around ₹11,500 crore to financial institutions, lessors, vendors, passengers who had paid for tickets in advance, and other creditors, living up to Richard Branson's old quip, 'If you want to be a millionaire, invest a billion.'
