Porvorim: Chief minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday assured the House that he would find out why the e-visa facility isn’t extended to passengers arriving at Manohar International Airport, Mopa, from London.
“I will check why it’s not done,” the CM replied to GFP MLA Vijai Sardesai after the Fatorda legislator raised the issue during Zero Hour.
The e-visa facility is available at Goa International airport, Dabolim, but recently, UK flights operated by Air India were shifted to the airport at Mopa.
“There’s a concern among passengers arriving from London over the non-acceptance of the e-visa at Mopa,” said Sardesai.
Sardesai said that when passengers board a flight from the UK, the Goa-bound passengers are told that their e-visa will not be accepted at Manohar International Airport.
