Mumbai: Two Nepali nationals were booked at the city’s international airport for trying to travel abroad with fake documents. On Saturday morning, the two produced passports and boarding passes at the immigration counter for a flight sfor Dubai. The cops asked for an NOCsupposed to be issued by Nepal Embassy in India and were shown a photo of the NOC on phone.
The cops sensed something amiss and alerted immigration officials who checked with Nepal Embassy in Delhi. The embassy confirmed the NOCs were fake. An FIR was registered at Sahar police station. TNN
