India's unique landscapes and civilizations are increasingly being sought after to be explored. Domestic travel has become increasingly alluring, resulting in a notable increase in the first half of this year. The rajiv gandhi international airport (RGIA) in hyderabad has seen a record-breaking increase in domestic travellers in only six months. Summertime appears to be the preferred time of year for these adventures in travel, with april and May seeing the highest levels of domestic passenger traffic at the hyderabad airport.
According to this year's figures, intra-country travel has increased dramatically compared to the same time last year. The airport has welcomed more domestic travellers in the first half of the year than in any other time period of similar size during the previous ten years, according to data from the airport.
According to Waseem Syed, the owner of Cloudz Tours & Travels, "The captivating destinations of Goa, Coorg, Munnar, Wayanad, Ooty, Kodaikanal, Mahabaleshwar, and the serene landscapes of kashmir have become the preferred playgrounds for Hyderabadis seeking memorable vacations."
From january to june of this year, the rajiv gandhi international airport alone saw a startling surge of approximately 1 crore (99,88,369) domestic travellers. This number even surpasses the total number of domestic passengers during the previous ten years. It appears that the appeal of overseas travel has not diminished even as the nation's passion with home exploration grows. A stunning 19,37,000 international passengers have been served by the RGIA's international departure terminals, which have been bustling with activity.
