Sikhs For Justice issues threat: 'Will storm IGI Airport with Khalistan flags to avenge arrests in Delhi'

New Delhi: Within hours of Delhi Police announcing the arrest of two operatives of banned outfit Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) for allegedly spray painting pro-Khalistan graffiti and slogans at Metro stations last week, the outfit issued a threat that its operatives would now storm IGI Airport with Khalistan flags to avenge the arrests.

SFJ founder Gurpatwant Singh Pannun also declared a cash reward of Rs 1 lakh for information about families of Delhi Police officers in Canada, UK, Germany, Italy & Australia. Earlier Thursday, the special cell had announced the arrest of SFJ operatives Pritpal Singh, alias Kaka, and Rajwinder Singh, alias Kale, from Faridkot.

Special commissioner HGS Dhaliwal said Pannun had promised to pay them $7,000 for the task and paid $3,500 as advance through Western Union. "They were in touch with Pannun on the Signal app and had called him up after the task was completed," Dhaliwal added.

The daring act on August 26 had prompted an all-out manhunt by multiple teams comprising over 100 cops. The duo was finally tracked down by a team led by ACP Sanjay Dutt and inspector Chandrika Prashad through extensive technical surveillance and deep-tech infiltration techniques which also involved analysis of over 5,000 mobile phone numbers, sources said.
