IndiGo has added another feather to its cap with the commencement of operations in the enchanting city of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. This marks the 81st domestic destination and the 113th overall addition to the 6E network.
The airline is set to connect Jaisalmer to the national capital, Delhi, starting October 12, 2023. Moreover, from October 29, 2023, it will extend its wings to reach out to key cities such as Mumbai, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad. This strategic move not only enhances regional connectivity but also fosters economic growth, providing a vital gateway for both tourists and business travellers.
Vinay Malhotra, the Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, expressed his excitement at this development, saying, "These new flight routes connecting Jaisalmer to major commercial and industrial hubs like Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad hold immense significance in enhancing regional connectivity.
