With commercial flights from the green-field Noida International Airport (Jewar) due to start on 15 June, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has approved a six-month pilot of 15 electric buses on four feeder routes linking key residential and business hubs to the terminal. The service, announced in the early hours of 4 May, will cost ₹1.8 crore and be operated by Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. The first three routes originate at Gaur Chowk, Surajpur and Makoda roundabout, while the fourth begins in Sector 16. Buses will run every 30–60 minutes, with frequencies adjusted after load-factor analysis. Hydrogen-powered buses are also on the horizon for the high-demand Pari Chowk corridor, and UP Roadways has committed to inter-city links to Dehradun, Haridwar, Gurgaon and Delhi rail hubs.
