Customs officials at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport have successfully intercepted a massive narcotics shipment, seizing over four kilograms of suspected marijuana worth Rs 4 crore.
The operation unfolded on May 12, when an Indian passenger arriving from Bangkok was identified through profiling and subsequently apprehended.
Officials uncovered the illicit substance concealed in four pouches within a rose gold trolley bag, and arrested another person at Terminal 3 who intended to collect the drugs. Both suspects were detained under the NDPS Act.
