SWELECT Energy Systems, an India-based energy company, has commissioned a 5 MW power plant in Tamil Nadu for the AAI project. The deployment is located in Tiruvannamalai District, Tamil Nadu and is connected to the Sirungattur 110/33-11 KV TANTRANSCO SS at a listed 110 KV voltage level. Power from the plant will be supplied to the Airport Authority of India for Chennai Airport operations. The arrangement uses a Third Party Power Sale model through Intra State Open Access within Tamil Nadu. With this commissioning, SWELECT Energy Systems has completed 10 MW of total capacity for the AAI project. Project metrics list the Airport Authority of India as the client, Chennai Airport as the end user, and 5 MW as the current commissioning capacity.
