New Delhi: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has arrested a passenger here at Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) with foreign currency worth over Rs.1 crore, said an official on Thursday.
Aakash Nagpal, a resident of New Govindpuri in south Delhi, was arrested on Wednesday night at the airport.
"Nagpal was supposed to travel to Mumbai by flight number AI-317. He was selected for thorough checking of his belongings and his luggage was passed through X-Ray baggage inspection system at international security hold area of Terminal-3, IGI Airport," CISF spokesperson Hemendra Singh said.
