Kochi: An attempt to smuggle out ganja through Cochin International Airport Limited was foiled by Central Industrial Security Force personnel on Wednesday. They intercepted Abdul Salam, 36, a resident of Kollam, at the departure terminal of the airport and seized 1.70 kilogram of ganja concealed in small quantities in spice and tea dust packets. The accused, who was scheduled to depart to Doha, was handed over to the Customs.
