Bengaluru:At least 15 flights between Bengaluru and Kochi were cancelled after Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL) shutdown arrival operations from Thursday afternoon.
CIAL has shut down arrival operations from 1.10pm to 3:05 pm. On Thursday as a precautionary measure. The move came after Chengal canal which is connected to the Periyar river near the Kochi airport was over following after the heavy rain
Several Kochi-bound passengers were stranded at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) following the sudden cancellation of the flights.
