New Delhi: The chairman of a private airlines has alleged that he has been receiving calls and threatening messages on his mobile from an unknown number. The police have registered a case. However, there has been no breakthrough in nailing the caller yet.
According to the police, the chairman of Jagson Airlines, J P Gupta, has filed a police complaint in Connaught Place police station in which he has alleged that he has been receiving missed call from a mobile number for the past two weeks.
"Initially the caller used to give missed calls on my mobile. He had been doing this for the past many days. On one particular day, he called me some 10 times on my personal number," Gupta mentioned in his complaint.
When Gupta tried to call back on the number, the call was not answered. Gupta further alleged in his complaint that last week, he received an SMS from the mobile number 9734125802 which read: "J P Gupta...your death in two days." He received another SMS repeating verbatim after which he panicked and informed the police.
