Minar Travels to serve as GSA for Air Mauritius in North India

New Delhi: Air Mauritius has recently appointed Minar Travels as its General Sales Agent (GSA) for North India. The airline currently operates to New Delhi, Jaipur and Jalandhar in the region and is looking at increasing its frequency to New Delhi but no plans have been finalised as yet, according to Girish Vidwans, Head - Sales and Marketing (Indian Sub-Continent), Air Mauritius. Explaining the reason behind appointing Minar Travels as a GSA, Vidwan said, "We are looking at increasing our presence in Tier II cities since we are getting good response from these cities. Hence, we decided to have a GSA for these markets."
With a view to give thrust to its offerings for Mauritius, Minar Travels has tied-up with the Mauritius Promotion Tourism Authority (MPTA) to promote the country as a Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) destination.
